Power BI Jumpstart: From an Excel File to an Interactive Report

January 26, 2027 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
$350.00
Hands-on, 3 hours. Connect Power BI Desktop to an Excel file, clean the data, and build a report page with a slicer.

The monthly report is an Excel file you rebuild by hand.

You connect Power BI Desktop to an Excel sales file and clean it in Power Query. You format the numbers as currency, add a product hierarchy and two measures that count orders and customers correctly. Then you build a dashboard page: four KPI cards, a year slicer, a sales trend line chart and a sales-by-category bar chart you can drill into, and you control which visuals the slicer filters. The instructor shows how a report is published and shared.
