An introduction to AI assistants for people who do not write code. You compare the same question across tools, learn a five-part prompt (Role, Task, Context, Format, Constraint), and build one reusable prompt for a task you do regularly. Covers ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.

What you will do

  • Explain in plain terms what AI assistants do and do not do
  • Compare the main AI tools and match each to a job
  • Write a prompt with Role, Task, Context, Format and Constraint
  • Use AI for email, documents, presentations and data
  • Start a personal prompt library with one reusable prompt
  • Apply responsible-use practices: hallucination, bias, data privacy and organization policy

Copilot license: No Copilot license needed.

Who it is for: Business professionals, end users and non-technical staff who want a practical introduction to AI tools that is not tied to one vendor.

What you need

  • A web browser and free accounts for two of the AI tools covered. The instructor confirms which two before class. No Microsoft license needed.
  • Comfortable with a web browser and basic productivity apps. No AI experience needed.
  • A computer with a reliable internet connection. The online meeting link is sent after you register.

You receive: Course manual, the sample files, and the slides.

Length: Half day (3.5 hours). Level: Beginner. Format: Instructor-led, hands-on.
