The session starts in Copilot Chat: a one-line prompt, the same request written with the GCSE structure (Goal, Context, Source, Expectations), and then a prompt grounded in a specific file. Then in Excel, the instructor asks Copilot questions about the data, has it highlight and chart the data, and checks the result.

How this webinar works: Anyone can watch. If you have the paid Microsoft 365 Copilot license, follow along in your own account. The instructor says at the start which steps need it.

Who it is for: Analysts, managers and anyone who gets asked what the numbers say.

What you need

  • No license is needed to watch. The two try-it exercises need the paid Microsoft 365 Copilot license, Excel, and a workbook saved in OneDrive.
  • Comfortable with Excel tables. No Copilot experience needed.
  • A computer with a reliable internet connection. The online meeting link is sent after you register.

You receive: The exercise prompts, posted in the chat.

Length: 60 minutes. Level: Beginner. Format: Live webinar, optional hands-on. Anyone can watch. Attendees with the paid Copilot license can follow along in their own account; the instructor says at the start which steps need it.
