Copilot Basics: Which Copilot Do I Have, and What Can It See? (Webinar)

November 10 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am
$59.00
Live one-hour webinar. Find which Copilot you have, what it can see, and what the paid license adds. No paid license needed.

Your company turned Copilot on. Nobody told you which one you have or what it can read.

The instructor shows the three labels Microsoft uses, how to tell which one you have, and what each one can do. The same request is run without the paid license and with it, side by side. The session covers where to open Copilot Chat, how to confirm the work account is protected, what Copilot can read, and what not to put into it.

What you will see

  • The same request run without the paid license and with it
  • What the paid license adds: Copilot Chat grounded in your mailbox, meetings, chats and files, and Copilot inside Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Where Copilot Chat lives: the browser, the app and Outlook

What you will try

  • Find your own Copilot label
  • Confirm you are signed in with your work account and find the protection shield
  • Run a first prompt for your own job

Copilot license: Copilot Basic. The free Copilot Chat that comes with a Microsoft 365 work account is enough.

Who it is for: Anyone with a Microsoft 365 work account, and the managers who get asked these questions.

What you need

  • Copilot Chat on a Microsoft 365 work or school account. No paid Copilot license needed. A personal Microsoft account does not work.
  • Check before you register: Open Microsoft 365 Copilot with your work account and read the label under your name at the bottom of the page. Copilot Chat (Basic) or M365 Copilot (Basic) is enough for this session.
  • A Microsoft 365 work account.
  • A computer with a reliable internet connection. The online meeting link is sent after you register.

You receive: A one-page summary of the three labels.

Length: 60 minutes. Level: Beginner. Format: Live webinar, demonstration with short try-it exercises.

Your instructor: Cecil Renshaw is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and Project Management Professional (PMP) with more than 18 years of Microsoft 365 training and consulting for government agencies, corporations and small businesses. He writes his own courseware. SharePoint Business Solutions, Inc. (SBSI), sharepointmentoring.com.

Refunds: Full refund up to 7 days before the class. The class runs with at least 4 registrations. If SBSI cancels the class, you get a full refund.

Private sessions: This class can be run for your team, online or on-site. Contact cecil.renshaw@sharepointbiz.com or (217) 741-7165.
