Starting from a blank page is the slow way. \nYou draft a project status report in Word from a source file. You rewrite a paragraph\, turn a list into a table\, and ask Copilot questions about the document. Then you compare two quarterly status reports in Copilot Chat\, check what Copilot says changed\, and export the comparison to Word. \nWhat you will do \n\nDraft a document in Word from a source file\nRewrite a paragraph and turn a list into a table\nAsk Copilot questions about the document and check the answers\nCompare two reports and check what changed\nExport the comparison to a Word document\n\nYou leave with: A drafted status report and a comparison of two reports. \nCopilot license: Copilot Premium (the paid Microsoft 365 Copilot license). \nWho it is for: Anyone who writes reports\, status updates\, summaries or proposals. \nWhat you need \n\nMicrosoft 365 Copilot license: the paid add-on\, or Microsoft 365 E7\, which includes it. The Copilot label under the user’s name reads M365 Copilot (Premium). Word desktop.
